In 2010 I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a degree in Digital Media. While I attended that school, I managed to make it onto the Dean's List, I became the President of the Anime Club, I worked with the on campus printing center and I was a cameraman for the local television station, Dartmouth Community Television.
After college, I took part in volunteer work with Holden Commuinty Television and I also partook in an internship at Worcester County Community Television. I have recorded interveiws of celebrities at Connecticon and Anime Boston for these television stations. There have also been various art projects and designs I have created for clients over the years.
I have been writing and drawing a web comic series called Zheph Skyre. In order to promote my story, I have been attending numerous conventions within their Artists' Alley and I have been selling merchandise. Among the conventions I have attended are Anime Boston, MASSive Comic Con, Boston Comic Con, Rhode Island Comic Con, Nauticon, Granite State Comic Con, ComiCONN and other various conventions.
Recently, I have decided to go back to school in order to become an art teacher. I was inspired to get into animation or illustration, but it appeared those two avenues were more difficult to get into. Currently, I am finishing my degree at Framingham State University while I substitute teach, host Paint Nite events, and teach classes at the Worcester Crafts Center.
I have also written a book more recently. At first, I had published it with a publishing company with the name Zheph Skyre; Book 1; Fire, but I have recently changed to a self-publishing company with a heavily edited version called Zheph Skyre; The Flame Ignites. It is avaiable in my store and other platforms.
